HONOR THAT SPECIAL PERSON IN YOUR LIFE BY JOINING OUR SIGN A STUD PROGRAM
Let's start with the basics and explain the what, how, when, and why's of SIGN A STUD.
WHAT: When you become a SIGN A STUD team member, you get the opportunity to leave a literal lasting imprint on one of our Habitat for Humanity homes. We will engrave a name, that you choose, into one of the wall or framing studs which will then be incorporated into a new Habitat home build or restoration project.
HOW: When you register and pay your SIGN A STUD fee of $50, we will send you a confirmation email and check to see if you have any questions regarding this exciting program. Once you proceed to payment, you will be prompted with several questions. Please fill out the required portions so we can process your stud without any delays. With your membership donation, we will send you one of our Limited Edition Sign A Stud T-Shirts (you can purchase additional t-shirts for $10 ea.). You will also have the chance to fill out the optional information section which explains why you have chosen this individual to be honored, and with your permission, we will leave this story with our family so they know of your commitment to building homes, communities, and hope.
WHEN: Throughout the year, Habitat for Humanity of Collin County will have ongoing home projects where we will have the ability to install a new SIGN A STUD piece of framing, or to engrave an existing stud in a home. Once the stud is engraved, we will take pictures and send you a framed picture of your stud and the location of the home it will be incorporated into. Along with the picture we will also send you a t-shirt signifying your official membership into our SIGN A STUD team.
WHY: Home is where family is created, developed, and nurtured. Some of our lasting memories are within the confines of home, and the SIGN A STUD program gives you this unique opportunity to honor a loved one by leaving this lasting imprint on someone else's new home.
